As I was watching New Girl last night I came to terms with something odd about myself. I’m attracted to successful people. I want to date and marry someone successful. (One of the new characters on the show is a lawyer.) And it’s not the money… it’s the drive, the motivation and the diligence. I think it says a lot about a person. I admire someone that can juggle a hundred things on their plate, do them all successfully and keep a cool head the whole time. I think I get bored with people who “just work” or “just go to school”. 

I want to do more. Be more. Be better. Be successful. Make a difference. And I’m attracted to people that have that same type of drive. It makes for a more passionate and interesting life and more interesting conversations. If lunch is the most exciting part of your day on a regular basis, I’m going to be bored with you verrrry quickly.
